Everything you need to know about GetInLine.
You create a queue, print or display the QR code at your location, and customers scan it to join. They enter their name and phone number, get a ticket number, and can see their live position in line. When it's their turn, you call them from your dashboard and they get notified instantly.
No. Customers just scan the QR code with their phone camera and the queue opens in their browser — no download, no account, no sign-up required on their end. It works on any modern smartphone.
Sign up for a free account, enter your business name, and your first queue is created in under 2 minutes. You'll get a QR code immediately — print it, stick it on your counter, and you're live.
You press "Call next" in your staff dashboard. The customer gets a browser push notification (if they allowed it) and their ticket screen flashes to show it's their turn. They can also see their position updating in real time without any notifications.
Yes. You can create as many queues as you need — one per location, one per service type, whatever fits your operation. Each queue has its own QR code and can be opened or closed independently.
Yes. In your staff dashboard you can choose to call 1, 3, 5, or 10 people at a time — useful if you have multiple service counters open simultaneously.
The display screen is a full-screen view showing the ticket number currently being served, plus who's up next. Put it on a TV, tablet, or monitor in your venue so customers can see who's being called without checking their phones.
When a customer joins the queue, their browser asks for notification permission. If they allow it, they'll receive a push notification the moment you call their number — even if they've closed the browser tab. This works on Android automatically. On iPhone, it requires adding the page to the Home Screen first (PWA).
Yes. Customers have a "Leave queue" button on their ticket screen. This removes them from the line and clears their session. You can also mark someone as "Missed" from the staff dashboard, which lets them rejoin at the back if they come back.
No hard limit. GetInLine handles queues of any size.
Toggling a queue closed stops new people from joining but keeps everyone already in line. Reopening lets people join again. Closing is different from deactivating — an inactive queue is fully shut down.
